Description
A group of 66 x British Beatrix Potter commemorative 50 pence coins, comprising approximately 50 silver-colored, heptagonal coins. Each coin features illustrations of various characters from Beatrix Potter’s beloved children’s stories. Visible inscriptions include “BEATRIX POTTER 1866-1943” on several coins, as well as character names and story titles such as “BENJAMIN BUNNY, ” “THE TALE OF PETER RABBIT, ” “MRS TIGGY-WINKLE, ” “MR JEREMY FISHER, ” “TOM KITTEN, ” “SQUIRREL NUTKIN, ” “MRS TITTLEMOUSE, ” and “THE TAILOR OF GLOUCESTER.” The coins are struck from a base metal alloy.
Condition report:
Generally good to very good apparent condition, exhibiting clear details and minimal signs of heavy wear or significant surface blemishes. Some minor circulation marks commensurate with age and handling may be present.
