Description
A set of three Royal Crown Derby Old Imari plates, 2x 8.5″ 2nd quality 1x 10.5″ 1st quality likely crafted from bone china. Each plate features an elaborate, multi-colored design with extensive gilding. The central motif is a radial floral and foliate pattern rendered in dark blue, red-pink, and gold, encircled by a dark blue band adorned with intricate gold scrollwork. The wide rim is segmented by white lines, displaying alternating panels. These panels include solid red-orange floral designs on a dark ground with gold scrollwork, and panels with a gold lattice pattern overlaying smaller, subtly patterned diamond shapes. No visible text or markings are present on the plates.
Condition report:
The plates are in good overall condition. No apparent chips, cracks, or significant wear to the vibrant enamel and gilding are observed.
