Description
A collection of small-format volumes from the series titled A Winnie-the-Pooh Story Book, written by A.A. Milne and featuring illustrations by Ernest H. Shepard. These volumes are attributed to Dutton Children’s Books, published circa 1990. The books are bound in white pictorial paper-covered boards with uniform light blue spines decorated with a repeating motif of small character figures. Each front cover features a central color illustration within a blue-bordered box. Visible titles in this lot include Tiggers Don’t Climb Trees, A House is Built at Pooh Corner, Kanga and Baby Roo Come to the Forest, Pooh’s Poems, Eeyore Has A Birthday, A Search for Eeyore’s Tail, and Piglet is Entirely Surrounded by Water. The interior pages contain color illustrations based on the original Shepard drawings.
