A figural match holder and striker constructed of matte-finished bisque porcelain with hand-painted polychrome enamel decoration. The novelty item features two caricature male figures situated on a rectangular base with a recessed tray at the front. The primary figure is depicted in a bent-over position, wearing a green hat, white shirt with red suspenders, and green checkered trousers. late 19th to early 20th century.
