Condition report:
The locket is in good overall condition. Light surface wear including fine scratches and minor tarnishing is present across the gold surfaces, consistent with age and use (photo 1). The hinge is secure and functional, and the locket mechanism snaps shut firmly. No significant dents or damage are visible.
